Farah Khan shoots a song with 29 superstarsIf you ask what is common in Manmohan Desai's Naseeb and Farah Khan's Om Shanti Om then the answer would be a song that stars all big personalities of Bollywood.Farah Khan just finished shooting the title track of her forthcoming film Om Shanti Om. The song has been shot at Film City for over seven days. The situation is that superstar Om Kapoor played by Shah Rukh Khan has won an award and throws a party which is attended by all actors. Farah and Shah Rukh personally invited all the big actors of Bollywood and managed to shoot the song with 29 stars. This will be the first time that Saif Ali Khan, Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt will be seen together on screen. Interestingly, Dharmendra arrived after these three finished their shoot, however when they saw Dharmji shoot, the three actors jumped into the frame and started dancing with Dharmji. Jeetendra shook a leg with his son Tusshar for the song. Mithun specially flew down to Mumbai from Hyderabad only to shoot for this song. This song will probably also mark the comeback of Karisma Kapoor to the big screen. She shot for her dance sequence after Tabu and Urmila. Sunil Shetty, who was the villain in Farah's last film Main Hoon Na was slightly apprehensive as he was to dance after Govinda's performance.
Shah Rukh lands in a legal hassleShah Rukh Khan is facing legal trouble as he has been asked by the Bombay High Court to submit documents regarding ownership, sanctions and permissions for construction in the compound of his bungalow Mannat in Bandra. Khan has to submit it within two weeks. It is believed that the court had earlier dismissed another PIL that raised the same issue but a NGO claimed that it was challenging the construction on different grounds. The issue is that the construction blocks a road along Mannat that links Bhabha Road and Mount Mary Road in suburban Bandra. The plot was subsequently purchased and developed by Khan. It is alleged that Shah Rukh was given unnecessary favour by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation and state government when they lifted the reservation on a plot of land, adjacent to his bungalow. Shah Rukh has completed one season of the game show Kaun Banega Crorepati. He is currently shooting for Farah Khan's Om Shanti Om.
OM SHANTI OM to have seven songs!By Abid, Bollywodd Trade News NetworkChoreographer Farah Khan's first project as a director, MAIN HOON NA, released in 2004 and not only was it a big commercial success, the music of the Shah Rukh-Sushmita starrer is popular even today. In fact it remains Anu Malik's last big commercial success. However, for her second project OM SHANTI OM, Farah Khan has gone in for Vishal-Shekhar. The movie that boasts of special appearances from almost the entire industry is keenly awaited and there is a lot of curiosity about the musical score of the Shah Rukh Khan, Shreyas Talpade and debutante Deepika Padukone starrer. The only significant thing known about the musical score is that apart from Vishal-Shekhar, Pyarelal (of the legendary Laxmi-Pyare 'jodi') has composed one of the songs of OM SHANTI OM. But we can tell you that there are going to be a total of seven songs in the album, and Vishal-Shekhar duo has already recorded five of them. The music of the movie, based mainly in the psychedelic 70s, is expected to have a scent of that era.
Check out what's next on SRK's gadget wish listMumbai: Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is a busy man these days. On one hand, it’s director Farah Khan's Om Shanti Om and on the other are his numerous brand endorsements. We caught up with him on location when he was shooting for a new campaign of the computer brand, which he endorses. Shah Rukh is a well-known gadget freak and guess what's next on his wish list? “I think i-phone is good. But unfortunately not been able to crack the AT&T tie-up for two years. So, one has to wait for it to come down here,” Shah Rukh said. And if that wasn’t enough, here is some more tech gyan from the King Khan.“If one can find use for it then I Tv is an interesting concept. You can shift all your hard disk onto television wirelessly which is interesting. It’s very interesting if you are into that kind of presentation,” he said.Well, looks like being tech savvy comes second only to acting as far as SRK is concerned.
Kareena KapoorLast we saw you in DON, what prompted you to make a sensational appearance in the forthcoming KYA LOVE STORY HAI?The film's director Lovely Singh is a very close friend. I've known him since MUJHE KUCCH KEHNA HAI. Doing the song was a gesture of love and friendship. And when he explained the concept to me and I heard the song I knew it was going to be a rocking number. I loved it. I've worn the most glamorous clothes, driven a limo and strummed a 25-feet guitar! It doesn't get better! How was it facing the camera after a year? What a coincidence! I began my break last year after completing the dance number for DON, and now I have ended my break again with a dance number for KYA LOVE STORY HAI! I was away purely out of choice because I needed to relax and unwind, but now it feels great to be doing what I have always loved doing.Did you contribute to the song in any way? Since I am playing myself in the song, I told Lovely that I would not go overboard on the glamour front with any itsy-bitsy costumes. It was my idea to perform in jeans and gorgeous gowns. Otherwise, it has been the team work of music director Pritam, choreographer Bosco, my dress designer Manish Malhotra, the director Lovely Singh, and Alisha China who has lent her golden voice to this number. Did you imagine what a huge craze 'It's Rocking' from KYA LOVE STORY HAI would become?I'm not surprised, when I first heard it, I loved it!Personally what kind of music do you listen to?My all time favourites are the old classics from films like Aawara, Chori Chori, etc. 'It's Rocking' actually has references to the erstwhile hit, 'Ude Jab Jab Zulfein Teri'!What are your expectations from your sensational appearance in KYA LOVE STORY HAI?There are no expectations except that I can experiment with some really glamorous looks. It is a good balance after doing films like CHAMELI and OMKARA where I am deglam. And then there is the additional high of knowing that millions of people out there are going to dance to my moves!Tell us about your forthcoming projects? Imtiaz Ali's film with Shahid as my co-star is one I am excited about, then I have Yash Chopra's next with Akshay and Saif, and there is Mani Ratnam's LAJJO with Aamir Khan. What is the secret of your slim-as-a-reed figure? I begin the day doing yoga and that has really helped! And thanks to Shahid (Kapoor) I have turned a vegetarian, which has further enhanced my physique!Any more sensational appearances like the one you've made in KYA LOVE STORY HAI? You can never tell about life. So never say 'never'!
Shah Rukh no more part of 'save Dutt' driveMumbai: Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan on Monday dissociated himself from the 'Save Sanjay Dutt Campaign' on the Internet hours after Ujjwal Nikam, the public prosecutor in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case, threatened legal action against those who were campaigning against the six-year jail term for Dutt.Three days back, Mumbai's film fraternity had launched an online petition
expressing their solidarity with Dutt. The petition has been signed by nearly 2,000 people in the past three days and it was to be submitted to President Pratibha Patil. Some of people named as signatories of the petition included Shah Rukh Khan, Bobby Deol, John Abraham, Dia Mirza, Farhan Akhtar, Mohit Ahlawat, Dabboo Ratnani, Atul Agnihotri, Manav Gangwni and Ritesh Sidhwani. There is even a message for Dutt on the petition, which is attributed to SRK. "Sanjay, we are here for you and support you throughout. The film industry has faced a loss for six years not having you around. We love you and are praying for the best. Hope to see you soon. Inshallah," the message reads. There are also messages attributed to Bobby Deol, Farhan Akhtar, Irfan Khan, Mohit Ahlawat, Sunny Deol, DJ Aqeel, Pajkumar Hirani and others. The signatories of the petition appeal to the President to free Sanjay Sutt. "Please free Sanjay. He is a great guy and he commited and suffered enough. Ms President, please listen to us," the message attributed to Sunny Deol reads"Free Sanju, because he does not deserve this. He is a good human being and always has thought of others before himself," a message said to be written by DJ Aqeel states. But SRK now says he has nothing to do with the campaign. He said he has not joined any online campoaign to save Sanjay. The 'Save Sanjay Campaign' received a jolt on Monday when Nikam threatened legal action against those who have started the it."If someone starts such a campaign criticising the order of the court (before the prisoner seeks relief), it certainly amounts to contempt of court. I am watching the events carefully and if this continues, I will be forced to take legal action," Nikam said.Even Sanjay Dutt’s sister, Lok Sabha MP Priya Dutt, has urged the actor’s Bollywood friends to refrain from such a support campaign. She said she wanted to take 'the legal route' to save her brother.Apart from the online petition of the Bollywood stars, Sanjay Dutt's fans too have resorted to various means to drum up support for Dutt and express solidarity with him. Some fans have launched a website
to campaign for probation relief for Dutt."I support Sanjay Dutt not because I’m a fan, but because he has been jailed for 16 months and then given bail. He has behaved well for 10 years. Then why this whole thing again? It doesn't make sense," Mridula Sarachandra, an ardent Dutt supporter, says. Some fans are also using SMSes to gather support for Dutt. However, the move has angered those who believe the sentences were much deserved.
E Stop: SRK's new role, busy bee Nicole By IBNLive.com Shah Rukh Khan on being a hockey coach in Chak De India and check out what keeps Aussie star Nicole Kidman busy. All this and more on E Stop.
Is this the finest hour of SRK's career?Shah Rukh Khan is determined to break away from his 'Rahul' image and has chosen the right time to do so. The superstar is enjoying the finest phase of his life and career at the moment. He is being honoured and hailed for his achievements by foreign governments and institutions. He can afford to sport a new and radical hairstyle (perhaps for a future project), while his fans eagerly await his first release this year, CHAKDE! INDIA where he plays a hockey coach. All this has been energizing the actor more than ever before, as he revealed recently during an interview. Today every other actor in Bollywood claims that Hollywood beckons. But the truth is that only Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan can claim to be internationally respected and adored.Friday July 27, 06:07 PM
Shankar directing Shah RukhShankar, who had directed Sivaji with Rajinikanth, is now going to direct the Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. The film belongs to the action genre and is based on a pre-written script Robo by the director. Shah Rukh is expected to schedule his dates after he finishes shooting for Om Shanthi Om. The star director is popular for making big-budget movies and Bollywood is very forthcoming inn giving such a big budget.
CHAKDE! INDIA censored with a 'U' certificateYash Raj's Shah Rukh Khan starrer, CHAKDE! INDIA, has been classified as a 'thriller' and given a 'U' Censor Certificate (C.C. No. CIL/1/84/2007). The movie has a final length of 4133.34 metres, in 17 reels. While on the Shimit Amin directed movie, it is all set to release this Friday, with a high number of multiplex/cineplex prints. One feels that it is the right strategy, as CHAKDE! INDIA has a theme which is likely to be appreciated more by city based audiences. In other words, the maximum revenue is going to be generated from good cinemas and 'A' centres, rather than 'B' and 'C' centres.
August's recipe - KHAN-A-WEEKAugust 2007 would go down as special in the history of Bollywood since as many as four out of five Fridays would be witnessing the release of a film starring one of the Khans. While the weekend gone by (August 3) had Zayed Khan performing some dare devil stunts in CASH, this Friday (August 10) would have Shahrukh Khan say CHAK DE! INDIA. Following weekend would be Khan heavy too as Salman Khan looks forward to his debut international project MARIGOLD finally hitting the marquee on August 17.Last but not the least; Fardeen Khan is one of the men in lookout for a baby in comic caper HEYY BABYY which arrives on August 24. Interestingly the film is directed by a Khan - Sajid Khan - and has confirmed guest appearance by Shahrukh Khan. This is not all as even Salman Khan has rumoredly faced the camera for this Sajid Nadiadwala flick. With a Khan dominated month like this, it certainly is a record in the making for August 2007.
Book on Shah Rukh Khan released to rave reviews KING OF BOLLYWOOD; SHAH RUKH KHAN AND THE SEDUCTIVE WORLD OF INDIAN CINEMA by Anupama Chopra hit book stores today. His larger-than-life tale takes us through the colorful and idiosyncratic Bollywood movie industry, where fantastic dreams and outrageous obsessions share the spotlight with extortion, murder, and corruption. The book has got rave reviews across the board. "An eminently readable book, which I believe would be read and loved by everybody." - Chandan Mitra, India Today"Anupama Chopra has written a good readable account of Shahrukh Khan's life." - Lord Meghnad Desai, Outlook"An engrossing account... characterized by smart and snappy writing." -Nandini Ramnath, Time Out Mumbai"A gripping new book." - Mint Lounge"A neat encapsulation of an amazing career." - Kirkus Reviews"Strongly recommended for all popular film and media collections..." - Library Journal ReviewKING OF BOLLYWOOD is the first comprehensive narrative account of Bollywood published by a major US publishing house: Grand Central Publishing (formerly Warner Books). Best in the business come together for CHAK DE INDIAOn the face value, USP of CHAK DE INDIA may appear to be just Shahrukh Khan. Still, if one digs deep down, there is much larger effort that has gone in making this film truly different from what Yash Raj Films has made in the past.First and foremost the director at the helm is Shimit Amin who could easily be counted as the unlikeliest of all when it comes to associating a film maker with YRF. Otherwise how could one imagine the man behind a gritty AB TAK CHAPPAN to be making a film for the production house which thrives on feel good entertainers?Well, this is not all as the major part of the film's crew also comprises of technicians who are easily the best in the business. Jaideep Sahni, the man behind projects as diverse as 'Company', 'Bunty Aur Babli' and 'Khosla Ka Ghosla' pens the screenplay of 'Chak De India'. Amitabh Shukla, who has used his scissors to perfection in films like 'Namastey London', 'Krrish', 'Kabul Express' and 'Bluffmaster' has been roped in as an editor. Sudeep Chatterjee, who has captured the frames of 'Iqbal' and 'Dor' with as much elan as 'Jaan-E-Mann' is the film's cinematographer whereas art director Sukant Panigrahy has left the fantasy world of 'Jhoom Barabar Jhoom' behind to get more realistic with the real drama of 'Chak De India'.Usual suspects like Ganesh Acharya and Salim-Sulaiman hardly need an introduction as they come together for choreography and music of the film. Last but not the least, with brains of producer Aditya Chopra behind the project, it makes it a 10 out of 10 for 'Chak De India' when it comes to setting the base right for the film.'Jhoom Barabar Jhoom' may have bombed at the box office but that hasn't stopped Yash Raj Films from being busy. Neck deep into the promotion of 'Chak De India', the country's numero uno film making house has made sure that they deliver nothing but the best for this ambitious Shahrukh Khan starrer. The film releases on August 10, 2007.
Bollywood - Sharukh Khan, Rani and Kajol turn into dogsCelebrated director Karan Johar will soon be taking his movies to the next level, with Kuchi Kuchi Hota Hai. Does that title sound familiar? It is named after, the director’s debut film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, which featured Shahrukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukherjee. The film went on to become a blockbuster. And now, almost seven years later, the movie is to be remade. But this time it is not going to be a live-action movie but an animated version.Another interesting aspect is that it won’t be featuring humans but dogs. Yes, the famous roles that Shahrukh, Kajol and Rani played in the original version will be played by animated dogs.Karan has assured that his first animated production will have romance, music, emotion and much more, which are expected of his Dharma Productions. Bollywood’s really trying novel themes.
'Don ka intezar to 11 mulkon ki police...'!PARTNER has Rajpal play a DONIf coming together of David Dhawan, Salman Khan and Govinda was not enough for a confirmed laugh riot, here is one more interesting news bit that is sure to take the anticipation for this fun saga to a different level altogether.Come July 20th and PARTNER would see Rajpal Yadav in an interesting character who does a take off on Shahrukh Khan's DON. Not just that he plays the role of a don and creates a spoofy situation; he also bears the same costumes and accessories [long coat, black shades and the works!] but also mouths his dialogues in the same husky tone. In addition, he also adopts the same body language and mannerisms with a hilarious take on film's popular dialogues like 'Don ka intezar to 11 mulkon ki police...'!With number of positives going in the film's favor and the pre-release buzz being quite high, there is no doubt that the film is looking at being one of the massive initial takers of the season at the box office.
An interview with - Shahrukh Khan"I don't think Shimit and Adi are the kind of people who'd make an off beat film," says Shahrukh Khan discarding rumours that his next film Chak De India is another attempt by him at off beat cinema. A film based on the trials and tribulations of Indian women's hockey team, SRK plays the amiable coach that weaves a bunch of girls from all parts of the country into a combative unit of strength and drive. In this interview King Khan expresses his fondness for director Shimit Amin (in the process he dismisses all rumours of the alleged differences between the two), the experience of working with raw young talent and why he feels Chak De India should become the anthem of Indian Sport. Time to dig in guys. What made you decide to do this film? There were a lot of reasons, first is off course the director. I have known him for years and he is a very simple, hardworking and talented. He has worked with me in the film Asoka. He's a very sweet, unassuming kind of a guy and to choose a film which is on sports and which is normally neglected say perhaps apart from Lagaan, Hip Hip Hurray and Iqbal. Now we haven't really made sports film and its something that I thought when I was younger I should be doing but I didn't get a chance. So when I am old and grey and over the hill I am glad someone like Shimit thought that I could sort of fill in to a sports film and field hockey has been a personal favourite sport of mine and I have been wanting my kids to learn it. I do feel I am no one to really comment from the outside that the state of Indian Hockey is not good but I have always felt that if there is anything I can do via the medium that I work in about the things that I think are special like field hockey. My father used to play, my friends used to play and I love it too so when all these things came together and off course Yash Raj producing it, they are all friends and family and I couldn't have got a better chance to make a dream come true about doing what I like doing most which is acting and doing a subject which is close to my heart. Can you tell us something about the character you play? The character's name is Kabir Khan. He's a coach; an ex-Indian hockey player who is living with some demons, has got some problems in life, has not been successful, wants to overcome that but without being cynical or disturbed. He decides in his mind and heart that he going to do something positive about it so it's a film about achievement in the face off failure and it's a film that looks at failure in a positive way that if you haven't done well fairly or unfairly the idea is not to give up or become cynical .The idea is to take on some kind of a challenge and try to overcome that obstacle which had stopped you earlier. I would say the character is quite aggressive when he wants to be. If you really ask me though I have played it I really don't know what the character is. I have played from my heart. It's a mix of Jaideep's writing, it's a mix of Shimit's outlook on the whole film, it's a bit of Adi's belief in the film and it's a bit of my mannerisms and style. It's all rolled into one. I would like it to be thinking, feeling may be of an elderly brotherly kind of a character who you feel confident in, who himself is shattered from inside, so it's very complex its not just like a simple explanation. I haven't been able to understand it myself yet. What was it like working with a whole lot of newcomers? Fantastic, earlier I thought that working with newcomers would be a bit of a hassle because they would not know their lines, you know you become a little patronizing you become a little kind at times, a little agitated and irritated at times because things are not going the way you think they are going but I think the whole production and the whole team had worked very hard with them and not to take any credit away from these girls. I think they are very hardworking and wonderful. They put their heart and soul into the film. They have practiced and learnt hockey, they have learnt the lines, they know the scenes they knew everything and at the end of it all after having worked for 18 years as an actor I got a lot to learn, because there is a bit of rawness when newcomers come and face the camera working for so many years you tend to become a little mechanized .You see a scene with a young girl who has never acted before, she says her few lines and they don't seem like you would do them this way but when you hear it out it sounds very right so it's a great learning process to work with newcomers. I had done that a bit in Swades but which was with still honed theater actors not film actors but here there were most of the girls had ever faced any kind of acting job so this was really nice and it was a great learning process for me. Among the girls in the team many of them must have been your fans what was it like working with them? The girls are very sweet and they were working really hard and we had a lot of readings before we started the film and couple of meetings so that we got easy with each other. Apart from some of them liking me, its a little embarrassing because some of them were 5/6 years old when they saw my films. It's a little embarrassing to be working with girls where you suddenly realize god you are old, you have been working a lot. But it was also important for me to be comfortable with them and not treat them like kids because the whole purpose of the character Kabeer is that he doesn't treat them like kids or girls. He treats them like grown up, tough people so I think that little bit of being fans and stalwart compared to the others got over very fast in the reading and meeting stage and then we were all co-actors and co-actresses just working together and having a great time and they were really nice, very well mannered very well brought up and really nice kids. Is Chak De India another effort by you to do off beat film like Swades and Paheli? I don't think these are off beat films sometimes I like the stories because they are different and I don't think Shimit and Adi are the kind of people who would make an off beat film. Its very on beat I think but the subject is that you can't make it every year, it's a different subject so I don't know what an off beat film is. I don't like boring films myself so I don't try to do those. I think this is a film with a different kind of a soul and a different kind of a story line so that's how it's different and I don't think it's off beat. What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear the words Chak De India? Chak De strangely to me is a line from Dilwale. I remember we used to say Chak De Phate in Dilwale so I don't know but I get reminded of that but I hope Chak De India becomes like a sporting thing whenever Sachin is playing or whenever Dhanraj Pillai is going with the ball somebody screams Chak De India which means score a goal or hit a sixer or get Sania Mirza to win the Wimbledon.

One big challenge for Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and singer Udit Narayan was to recreate the magic of Kishore Kumar’s immortal song Khaike Paan Banaras Wala. The new version of the song has many improviations. The song has Shah Rukh Khan rendering a few lines with gusto. There is a brief pause in the song before Udit again takes over from SRK.
The film’s music has been given by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and lyrics are written by Javed Akhtar.‘Don’ has five songs, of which two (‘Yeh Mera Dil’ and ‘Khaike Paan Banaras Wala’) are the remixed, club versions of the same songs from the original. The film also has ‘Main Hoon Don’ but it’s entirely different from the one in Bachchan’s movie. Apart from these, there is also a Ganpati song ‘Morya Re’ and a song called ‘Aaj Ki Raat’, picturised on both Priyanka Chopra and Isha Koppikar.
*Stunts*
The film will have Shah Rukh doing many dangerous stunts, which includes jumping from a height of 15,000 feet. Shah Rukh performed this stunt under the guidance of Hollywood stunt expert Joe Jennings, who has directed fights for movies like ‘Charlie's Angels’, ‘XXX’ and ‘Air Force One’.

Caught between hell and high water, Vijay has only one option – to complete his mission and bring the truth to light. In this struggle he is fully helped by his sweetheart Roma and his friend Jasjeet.
Things take a turn for the worse after the cop who had sent Vijay on the secret mission is killed. None in the police force know of Vijay’s mission. On the other hand, the mafia becomes more and more suspicious of their Don. So, Vijay finds himself hunted not just by the gangsters but also by the cops.
While Vijay passes off as Don initially, his partners-in-crime, particularly his girlfriend Anita, begins to sense a change in the man. In the meantime, Don comes closer to Roma (Priyanka Chopra) who is working amongst the gangsters for a personal reason.
It is then the chief cop De Silva (Boman Irani) makes his ingenious move. He sends a Don look-alike Vijay, a bumpkin, into Don’s gang. Vijay’s task is to impersonate as Don and help the police catch all the big fish in the dirty business.
Shah Rukh Khan plays Don, the leader of a ruthless drug mafia in Malaysia. Don’s cleverness has made it virtually impossible for the Indian police to catch him. But eventually, the ever-elusive Don is cornered by the cops. He is seriously injured in a police encounter. And soon the word spreads that Don is dead.
*The Others*
Arjun Rampal plays Don’s foe-turned-friend Jasjeet (played by Pran in the original), while Boman Irani plays the cop who sends the Don’s look-alike into his gang on a top-secret mission.
Arjun Rampal plays Don’s foe-turned-friend Jasjeet (played by Pran in the original), while Boman Irani plays the cop who sends the Don’s look-alike into his gang on a top-secret mission.
Kareena Kapoor makes a rather brief appearance in the film. She comes in for the melodious song ‘Yeh Mera Dil’ in which she seduces Don. The song is a remixed rehash of the original song in the 1978 movie that had the ebullient Helen dancing to the track by Kalyandji-Anandji. Besides this song, Kareena also has few scenes in the movie.
*Isha Koppikar*
Isha Koppikar plays the role of the real Don's girlfriend Anita, which was enacted by Aparna Chaudhary in the original. However, unlike the 1978 flick, Isha’s role in this film will have more substance and footage. Also, Isha has been made to look much more glamorous for her portions in the film.

The film, like the original, has SRK in a double role. One is a don who is seriously injured and later killed in a police encounter. Another is a don look-alike rustic guy named Vijay, who is clandestinely sent on a mission by a cop to impersonate the Don.
‘Don’ will not be a scene-to-scene adaptation of the original flick by director Chandra Barot. The remake will be a modern, contemporary version in which SRK, as Don, uses all the state-of-the-art gadgets and technology. The movie stays loyal to the plot of the original. But it improvises on the treatment of the story through stylish cinematography, crisp editing, innovative direction, high-octane stunts and special effects.
Don ko pakadna mushkil hi nahin, namumkin hai – this dialogue in Amitabh Bachchan’s deep baritone still resounds fresh in the memories of his fans. Twenty-eight years after the Big B immortalized the character of a don in Chandra Barot’s movie Don (1978) , Shah Rukh Khan reprises the role in Farhan Akhtar ’s movie ‘Don’. Besides Shah Rukh Khan , the film stars a host of actors including Priyanka Chopra , Isha Koppikar , Boman Irani , Arjun Rampal , Kareena Kapoor , Om Puri and Sushma Reddy .
